This place is amazing!!! Their food is top notch and I’m a local Portland/Vancouver resident where I’m spoiled by amazing restaurants. Their fish tacos, pork fried rice, and bread pudding is just WOW so good!! I come from a family of high-end cooks so when I say it’s amazing - it truly is!! Thank you Sandbar - it was a great experience dining with all of you. See you next time we’re in Long Beach!

Heather at the bar was absolutely amazing. She managed all of our crazy custom drink orders with grace. She really knows how to make a drink that tastes like a color. You should request a blue or purple drink. It will taste so blue! So purple!! The food was delicious. Best $36 steak ever. Also, next level salad dressing. May be an unusual call out, but try it and you shall see. I also recommend the BBQ Porto belly.

Had a wonderful dinner here! Almost everything on the menu is gluten-free (only about 4 items aren’t, and they’re clearly marked). It was such a relief to order without worrying whether the sauce or sides had hidden gluten. Our server, Haley, was amazing—friendly, genuine, and spent time chatting with us. It felt refreshing and personal. Food: Steamer clams – fresh and delicious. Black Garlic Beef Skewers with mac and cheese (not GF) – my BF loved it. Aleppo Pepper Chicken Skewers with fried rice – rice was a little al dente, but gingery and tasty. Caesar salad – HUGE, definitely more than just a side! We left stuffed, but I came back the next day for the flourless GF chocolate cake with whipped cream for my birthday. It may have been missing the caramel sauce, but it was still rich, chocolatey, and satisfying. Highly recommend for anyone who loves flavorful food and especially if you’re gluten-free—it’s such a treat to have so many safe options!

Didn't eat, so can't speak to that, but was nice finding a place with a cocktail menu with specialty drinks. Four of us each tried something different and they were all well balanced and tasty. They have a sushi bar on Fri and Sun, visible, looks fresh, clean and sanitary. Here for Rod Run, so moderately as it builds up, and still provided good service.

It's an idea that you can find repeated lots of places in different towns - have a brick and mortar location that serves some of its own food and drink, then add in a few select food trucks/trailers to bolster the menu, and you have the best of both types of dining experiences. The food here was good, atmosphere ok, the connection to the arcade directly next door (literal doorway between the two) has obvious appeal, and the options available from the food trucks/trailers are both diverse and delicious. I will say however while we were here, I observed the wait staff busting their butts to try and keep up . . . while some of the other staff literally stood by and for the most part ignored their overly busy coworkers because they were too enthralled with the football games that were on the overhead big screens. At one point I stated to our waitress that we felt she was doing a fantastic job and that it must be nice to stand around, arms folded, and watch football while others scurry around (at times even around you) to make up for your lack of work ethics and motivation. Apparently it's a regular occurrence here, which is sad because it honestly ruined the experience for us. If not for that, this place would deserve a much higher rating and return visits. We will likely try it again to see if the pattern is repeated.

I cannot express how important it is to visit this place in Long Beach, Washington. The service is impeccable! The food is amazing! And the atmosphere is incredible. I know I know it seems to great to be true? Although I cannot express the importance of Kindness, Professionalism & Realism as we don’t see that very Often in this day of age we live in…. Cheers

First off the servers were all soooo nice and helpful even though it was incredibly busy. The food was amazing! We started with the oysters which were perfect little briny salt gems, and the unique cocktail sauce was excellent! We had the half ribs which the Asian style sauce was delicious and they cooked so tender. The other dish was the fish tacos...hands down best fish tacos ive ever eaten! The batter on the ling cod was excellent and using ling cod is such a choice fish! The salsa verde added such a fresh touch. Overall a fabulous meal and experience!

My wife and I came for our 33rd anniversary dinner. The PNW crab sushi roll was amazing. Very fresh ingredients and fresh crab. We ordered a second one. I had the NY strip steak which was very good. I have a difficult time finding a good steak at a restaurant. This one was very flavorful and cooked to perfection.
